Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana S.A. (“Grupo SURA”) hereby announces an investment
made by the company VAXTHERA S.A.S, (formerly Vaccigen S.A.S.) a subsidiary of
Suramericana S.A. (which in turn is a core subsidiary of Grupo SURA), in the company
VAXTH ERA ZONA FRANCA S.A.S

VAXTHERA S.A.S. shall carry out research and experimental development operations in the
field of natural sciences and engineering, as well as the marketing of finished products. On
the other hand, VAXTHERA ZONA FRANCA S.A.S. shall be dedicated to manufacturing
biologics for the production of vaccines. Its sole shareholder is the company, VAXTHERA
S.A.S. Both companies are domiciled in Colombia.

As we announced on June 29, the initial value of this investment comes to USD 1.5 milli
on with the total investment estimated at this sta ge of approximately USD 54 million.
