Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana S.A. hereby announces that on December 10 it received due authorization from the Colombian Superintendency of Finance, to make an initial capital investment in Inversiones SURA Corp., domiciled in the U.S.A. This company shall provide its services as a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA).

Operations shall begin once due authorization is issued by the Florida Office of Financial Regulation (FLOFR), for which an application was filed on December 13th through FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) in the United States. Once the pertinent authorizations are obtained, Inversiones SURA Corp. will be able to provide its financial advisory services to its clients throughout Latin America and manage investment portfolios.

The amount projected for capitalizing this RIA, during the first three years of operations comes to approximately four million US dollars (USD $ 4,000,000).

Capital injections shall be periodically carried out according to the needs of the business and once the relevant authorizations have been obtained.
