Economist from Universidad de la República, with an MBA from IEEM Business School. He has 22 years of professional experience in various industries, such as finance, retail and technology, with executive positions at Citigroup, Tyco International, ING and IBM Uruguay.

In 2012 he joined AFAP SURA, a subsidiary of SURA Asset Management, where he has held the positions of Deputy Manager of Operations and IT and Management Manager, and since 2016 he has been General Manager. Since 2019, he has also assumed the role of President of the National Association of AFAPs of Uruguay (ANAFAP), a union of pension savings fund managers in this country.
