The Boards of Directors of SURA Asset Management and Suramericana decided on certain changes to the Senior Management teams of both these subsidiaries

On October 15, our subsidiary SURA Asset Management, specializing in retirement savings, investments and asset management, announced the appointment of Carlos Andrés Vallejo Delgado as its Chief Corporate Financial Officer, who had been leading the Corporate Finance Department of this same company.

Sura Asset Management´s new Chief Financial Officer graduated as an international negotiator from EAFIT University, where he also specialized in Finance. He also holds a Master's degree in Finance from Cass Business School, London, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute. Throughout his professional career, he has held various positions in the financial area, prior to joining SURA Asset Management in 2018.

This decision on the part of this subsidiary´s Board of Directors responded to its succession procedures and in this regard, Ignacio Calle, SURA Asset Management’s Chief Executive Officer stated "This announcement evidences the work we have been doing to strengthen our teams from a professional and human standpoint, which allows us to maintain suitable candidates who shall lead us to achieve and maintain good results".

In this sense, SURA Asset Management has been developing a financial strategy evidence of which can be seen in the results obtained and as well as its sound position as reflected in its risk ratings, which gives it the capacity to grow and, in turn, to continue consistently delivering dividends  to its shareholders.

On the other hand, Suramericana's Board of Directors decided to appoint Juan Camilo Arroyave Cárdenas as Chief Human Resources and Legal Affairs Officer as of January 2, 2025, when Sergio Pérez Montoya is due to retire; this in view of the age limit contained in the Company´s Code of Good Governance and after 36 years of service to this, an expert player in insurance and trend / risk management.

Juan Camilo currently serves as Chief Legal Affairs Officer, holding a degree in Law from the Universidad de Antioquia and has pursued several postgraduate studies in Law, Administration and Humanities. He joined the Company 20 years ago as a Legal Affairs intern and, among other positions held, was coordinator and national director of Judicial Proceedings, and also served as Legal Manager of Insurance and Reinsurance at Suramericana´s Corporate Offices.

In addition, Suramericana's Board of Directors appointed Mauricio Maya Osorio as Chief Strategy and Technology Management Officer, effective as of October 15. Having graduated in Administrative Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia Mauricio has pursued postgraduate studies in Finance and Humanities. He joined the Company 18 years ago, working in different positions in the financial area and currently holds the position of Manager of Technology and Strategic Focus  at Suramericana.
