​ In compliance with current reporting requirements, Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana S.A. hereby announces that, with due authorization from its governing bodies, it has signed a Call Option agreement with the Dutch company, General Atlantic Coöperatief U.A. (GA), with regard to the potential purchase of the shares that the latter holds in the Group´s subsidiary SURA Asset Management S.A. (SURA AM). According to the terms of the Call Option agreement, as of the date therein stipulated (March 2016), Grupo SURA shall be entitled to exercise the option of purchasing 191,198 shares in SURA AM that are currently owned by GA (7.30%). This transaction, should it materialize, is worth approximately USD 538 million and would be subject to the completion and signing of the relevant documentation and the fulfillment of the conditions contained in said agreement.
