​ In compliance with current reporting requirements, Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana S.A. (Grupo SURA) hereby announces that the Peruvian Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and Pension Funds has authorized Intercorp Financial Services Inc, (Intercorp) to acquire up to 100% of the share capital belonging to Seguros SURA S.A. and Hipotecaria SURA Empresa Administradora Hipotecaria S.A., both of which are subsidiaries of Sura Asset Management S.A. in Peru and as such belong to Grupo SURA. The Peruvian regulatory authorities issued a maximum term of six (6) months for Interseguro, a subsidiary of Intercorp, to formally merge with Seguros SURA.  The signing of the corresponding acquisition agreement was opportunely announced to the market on May 31st of this year through this same reporting mechanism.
