Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana S.A. (Grupo SURA) hereby announces that its subsidiary Suramericana S.A. has signed a purchase sale agreement with Alberto Daniel Serventich, José Urtubey and Marcelo Rubén Figueiras, for the sale of 100% of the shares it holds in the companies, Aseguradora de Créditos y Garantías S.A. and Atlantis Sociedad Inversora S.A., both Argentinian companies.

The value of this transaction comes to 900 million Argentine pesos equivalent to USD 8,224,436 at the date when this agreement was signed and represents less than 1% of Suramericana S.A.’s total investments. The closing of this divestiture is subject to due authorization being obtained from the Argentinian National Superintency of Insurance (Superintendencia de Seguros de la Nación).

Negotiations began in September 2021 this as part of Suramericana's strategic objective of specializing in Property and Casualty as well as Life insurance, as it continues to consolidate its position on the local Argentine market.
