- Next Thursday, October 21, private individuals who wish to become Grupo SURA shareholders will be able to do so directly from their cell phones through Trii without paying a commission.
- The first one thousand transactions on Thursday, including both common and preferred shares, shall be entitled to this benefit.
- From Tuesday, October 19 through to Friday, October 22, the Company will be offering a series of talks open to the public so that people may learn more about its role as an issuer and the part it plays on the capital markets.

Grupo SURA will be the second company to be play a leading role during Issuer Week, October 19-22, an initiative designed by the Trii app, for the purpose of educating the public about the Colombian capital market and in so doing increase people's access to this investment opportunity.
Trii is a homegrown fintech facilitating the buying and selling of shares on the Colombian Stock Exchange so as to expand independent access to the stock market. A Commission-Free Day has been staged as part of Issuer´s Week on Thursday, October 21, so that private individuals who wish to become Grupo SURA shareholders will be able to do so without paying the corresponding commission, a benefit that will apply to the first thousand transactions of both ordinary and preferred shares.
By joining this initiative, Grupo SURA seeks to encourage greater access to the stock market, in order to continue democratizing the benefits and opportunities offered. In this regard, Gonzalo Perez, Chief Executive Officer of Grupo SURA, stated: "It is important that issuers take responsibility for our market and continue to drive a greater degree of inclusion so as to be able to mobilize the local stock market. By supporting initiatives such as Trii and with educational efforts such as Issuer Week, we are encouraging more and more Colombians to become owners of Grupo SURA.
The Company currently has more than 14,000 private individuals who are direct owners of its share capital.
In addition, 17.5 million affiliated workers invest indirectly in Grupo SURA through their private pension funds which are the Company’s majority shareholders, according to the current shareholder structure.
