​ Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana S.A. ("Grupo SURA") hereby announces that today, Alianza Fiduciaria S.A., acting in its capacity as the Legal Representative of all those holders of Ordinary Bonds issued on February 23, 2017 and May 7, 2014 as part of the Issue and Placement Program for Ordinary Bonds and Commercial Paper corresponding to April 2014 (the "2014 Program Issues"), published a notice of a joint meeting in the national newspapers "El Tiempo" and "El Colombiano", corresponding to the second call for the General Assembly of Holders of Ordinary Bonds issued as part of the 2014 Program.  The purpose of this meeting is to present a merger proposal whereby Grupo SURA would absorb its subsidiaries Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana Panamá S.A. and Gruposura Finance, this so as to allow said bondholders to decide on this matter.  Please refer to the aforementionednotice of meeting on this page.​ ​​
