Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana S.A. hereby announces that its Board of Directors gave its approval to submitting, for the consideration of the General Assembly of Shareholders, a series of proposed amendments to the Company’s by-laws, the purpose of which is as follows:

1. To change the wording of these by-laws so as to make them clearer and more precise, without this entailing any changes whatsoever to the rights of our shareholders.

2. To review certain articles so as to ensure that these are in keeping with the Company’s current structure and working order as well its governing bodies, together with certain regulatory changes that are now applicable to the Company
