Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana S.A. (Grupo SURA) hereby informs the market of the following:

• Today, Grupo SURA was notified of the decision adopted by the 10th Civil Court of the Oral Circuit of Medellín as part of the Class Action filed by Diego Patiño Moreno against María Ximena Lombana, Angela María Tafur Domínguez and Andrés Bernal Correa, and with regard to the appeal filed by the defendants against the court order admitting the claim and the writ that decreed the precautionary measures to be taken.
• The judge denied the requests of the defendants in the corresponding court order and ratified his decision to admit the claim and to decree the precautionary measures ordering Grupo SURA and other entities to refrain from carrying out or handling any act or decision that does not comply with the applicable legal and statutory regulations governing the decisions of Grupo SURA´s Board of Directors.
• As a consequence of this decision, the court will forward the case file to the Superior Court of Medellín in order for this authority to hear the appeal against the order that decreed the precautionary measures.
• We also wish to clarify that the precautionary measures remain in force until such time a ruling is issued with regard to the aforementioned appeal, which was granted with devolutive effects.

Grupo SURA shall keep the market informed of any new decisions adopted in the aforementioned process.
