SURA Mexico announced a new offer, focused on creating a one of a kind service experience, allowing wealth management clients to preserve, increase and distribute their wealth efficiently.

Mexico City, April 12, 2016, SURA Mexico announced its new service High Net Worth Individuals, aimed at creating a new and unique service experience, allowing high wealth clients to preserve, increase and distribute their wealth efficiently.
SURA Mexico is part of SURA Asset Management, a subsidiary of Grupo SURA, the most important non-banking asset manager in Latin America, and a specialist in investment with over 70 years' experience in the financial industry.
SURA Mexico accounts for 25% of SURA Asset Management's total AUM, with more than 6 million clients and over $430 billion pesos in AUM*, through the following business lines: Investment Funds, Life Insurance, Pensions and Afore, which turns Mexico into one of the most relevant markets for the Group.
Mexico High Net Worth Individuals comes a result of a positive experience in investment management, and as a new service focused on creating a unique experience enabling high wealth clients to preserve, increase and distribute their capital efficiently.
The presentation of High Net Worth Individuals was run by Luis Ortiz, Voluntary Business General Manager, and Jorge Rodríguez, High Net Worth Individuals manager, who highlighted the way SURA Mexico experts have implemented the best strategies and consistently offered attractive returns, as well as an excellent risk management strategy. "In addition to an outstanding historic performance in the return of our portfolios vs their benchmarks, SURA will also offer its clients in this segment a higher service experience with the help of advisors with a proven career in the industry. We will privilege the deep profiling of each one of our clients to be able to provide the best possible offer", said Luis Ortiz, Voluntary Business General Manager.
In Mexico, the wealth market segment has shown a continued growth; with an estimated annual growth rate of 10% for the next 5 - 10 years. With the launch of High Net Worth Individuals , SURA intends to position its business in a segment that totals invertible assets above 5 million pesos, providing a unique service with world class standards in the wealth management industry. This new value offer will drive the AUM growth rate in the Investment business, which totals over 53 billion pesos to date, with a potential to double in the next 5 years.
