Highlights of our human talent function among our SURA Companies

The comprehensive management of our human talent, which is a purpose as well as a commitment driving the materialization of our strategy at all of our SURA Companies, is approached from different fronts, among which the following stand out: promoting diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), developing individuals and their potential, attracting and retaining our human talent and safeguarding their comprehensive wellness. The latter is one of the differentiating factors of our Business Group, in the form of a broad range of maternity and paternity benefits and best practices, in addition to preventing workplace harassment, the right to disconnect from work as well as mental health care.

The following are some of the measures that underpin SURA's recognition as part of the Merco Talento 2024 ranking.

Grupo SURA. In understanding its human talent, Grupo SURA places special emphasis on its employees as being at the heart of our strategy and, based on our own cultural, reputational and psychosocial risk studies, the Company has made their comprehensive wellness the main objective of its human talent function, thereby  balancing mental health with physical health. Grupo SURA also upholds a competitive remuneration policy that combines fixed compensation, benefits and short- and long-term incentives for its employees. It also promotes individual development through strategies such as annual competency metrics, leader performance evaluations, and training courses carried out in alliance with entities such as the EGADE Business School attached to the Tecnológico de Monterrey as well as the Universidad Eafit. To conclude we also have a policy in place for preventing  Sexual Harassment in the Workplace, along with strategies for mental health care and flexible working practices.
